Glavotok camp is situated on the west coast of the island of Krk, in centuries old Mediterranean Holm Oakwood. This part of the island, otherwise known by the name “Sottovento” (meaning: lee-side in Italian), is rich in vegetation and sheltered from the North winds.

Set 20 kilometres from the bridge of Krk which connects the island to the mainland, 15 kilometres form the town of Krk and only 6 kilometres from the Valbiska bay where a ferry parts for the island of Cres (Valbiska - Merag). Glavotok camp is thus at the crossroads of the main roads leading tothe most attractive tourist destinations on the island of Krk and Kvarner (Cres, Lošinj, Rab): ideal place for the guests looking for spending their vacation in preserved nature, peace and quiet – away from but yet close enough to the "city rush".

Thanks to the beautiful centuries-old Holm Oakwood (Quercus robur) the camp has completely natural shade, which together with the clear azure sea create a unique experience of preserved nature. This is really a place where one can enjoy nature and live with nature!

We, at the Glavotok camp, pay special attention to the care for nature, sanitary conditions and cleanliness and thus, to your health. Therefore, we have arranged toilet and shower facilities following the highest standards.

The camp embraces an area of 500 metres of indented coastline and crystal blue sea with three pebble beaches. The first, bigger beach, is situated in close vicinity of the reception desk, at the entrance; the second, smaller one, is situated in the middle of the camp, nearby the restaurant and the shop where you can refresh yourself with an ice-cream or a beverage at any time of the day. It also disposes of shower facilities. The third one, also bigger, but quieter and more intimately, is situated at the end of the camp beside the diving centre. The rest of the coast is mostly rocks and sunbathing places where nature itself created small pebble beaches and coves ideal for entering the sea or for jumping off the cliffs and free diving, especially interesting for the children.

Mediterranean food, fresh fish, homemade olive oil and vegetables are the basis of all dishes characteristic for this area. If you wish to taste traditional homemade cuisine, continental food or international cooking – there is a restaurant called Glavotok within the camp area, located only a few meters from the sea.

Glavotok camp is set in 6 acres of Oakwood, where the land gently inclines towards the sea. The camp is divided in two zones :
- zone A which covers the area by the sea, the middle part of the camp, near the restaurant and toilette and shower facilities
- zone B which covers the upper part of the camp where more peaceful and more intimately camp units are situated.

The sport and activities facilities include basketball court, sand volleyball, table tennis, motorcycles for hire, attractive walks and strolls (walking tracks), diving centre and a children’s playground for our young guests
